Our Governance
The Congregation
The Congregation of All Peoples Church Unitarian Universalist is the final authority. It meets for business twice a year in May and in November, and other times as needed. It elects the Board of Trustees, approves the budget, appoints delegates to denominational and regional meetings, amends or revises the By-Laws, employs and dismisses the Minister and sets general policies and plans under which the Board of Trustees and Minister operate the church.
The Board of Trustees
Management of all the affairs, property, business and operations of the Church is vested in the Board of Trustees. Members of the board are traditionally nominated by the Leadership Identification Committee and elected by the Congregation at the November Congregational meeting. Officers and Board members assume office January 1.
