“Building the Beloved Community”
The Reverend Craig C. Roshaven
“The Beloved Community” is a term that was first coined in the early days of the 20th Century by the philosopher-theologian Josiah Royce. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr popularized the term and invested it with a deeper meaning which has captured the imagination of people of goodwill all over the world.
Our former minister at First Jefferson for more than 18 years and now retired from parish ministry, Craig returns as our invited guest to preach and lead worship.
“Singing Our Principles”
Worship Arts presents a Hymn Service with readings and congregational singing. This service will serve as an introduction to a series of member-led participatory services that address the 7 principles of Unitarian Universalism (and a proposed 8th), what we value, and how they’re reflected by the way we live.
